THE JULY POPSUGAR MUST HAVE SUBSCRIPTION

I am really excited about monthly subscriptions.  I just added a new one to my list. It is POPSUGAR's MUST HAVE monthly subscription!  It is a pricier one at 35.00 per month.  However, they promise at least 100.00 worth of merchandise in each box.  Popsugar promises full size products and premium items. I believe earlier they promised 150.00 in each box but since the first box has come out they have lowered it to 100.00. 

I was skeptical about this box but I thought I would give it a try.  After all I work hard and wanted to treat myself so I decided to try this.  My first impression is that I really like it.  I was worried when the website lowered the value to 100.00 but I really like my box.  Here is what the July box contains:

It comes with a Canvas Bag.  The bag is a really nice quality with a zip closure and two slip pockets inside!

2 Kind Bars - Madagascar Vanilla Almond & Cashew & Ginger Spice - I have tried these before at Starbucks and really love them!

2 Body Drench Products - One Lotion in Pomegranate Crush and one Body Scrub in Raspberry Gelee.  I have never heard of Body Drench before but the products smell divine and I can't wait to try them!

2 RGB Nail Polish Boxes.  The one on the left is Doll and the one on the right is Minty!  Very Cute! I have heard of this brand but never tried it before.

2 Lip Products by ILIA - The one on the left is a tinted lip conditioner in Bang Bang. The one on the right is a lipstick in In My Room. I have not heard of this brand but the quality of the packaging is nice.  Definitely look forward to trying it!

The JULY GLOSSYBOX US Edition

I have mixed feelings about Glossybox!

Glossybox is a monthly subscription program that costs 21.00 per month for beauty samples.  Some items are full size and some are deluxe samples. I just got my Glossybox in the mail today.  I can tell you I was super excited about this subscription when it first came out but not so much anymore.  I am thinking of cancelling. This may be my last one.

 The packaging is pretty as always. I love the actual boxes and use them to store other things in.  This box is called Summer Nights.

I received four items and a "surprise treat."  However, I was supposed to receive five items.  The items I received are:  Sebastian color Ignite Multi Tone Shampoo and Conditioner, Figs & Rouge Lip, face and body balm, Alessandro International Pedix Heel Rescue Balm, and the surprise treat is the Blushed fragranced towelette. I was supposed to receive the Senna Cosmetics Mineral Eyes Shadow Trio.  However, it was missing from my box.

I will contact Glossybox to see if they will help me with this. Anyhow, not too excited about this box.  I have seen Glosybox in other countries and the products are more exciting.  I really disliked last months box so I may be giving this one up.

However, there are no worries.  There are tons of new subscription services out there or I will just save the 21.00 and buy something I know I really like =).  If you want to check out glossybox check it out here: www.glossybox.com
